Education and Employment Programme

Concerns around education and employment frequently rise with the young people we work with, so we have a particular focus on assisting young people in these areas. Some of the Youth Futures members are not in education, training or employment and it is critical that they have access to support when in this situation. We provide practical support in writing CVs, completing application forms, searching for work, opening bank accounts and practicing interview techniques. In addition we sign-post young people to local services, attend apprenticeship and job fairs and facilitate work experience opportunities, whether within Youth Futures itself or in some of our networks. We also have a relationship with Goldsmiths University and their Open Book programme that prepares young people to get into Goldsmiths through a non-conventional pathway.
